FNF Academy Membership Reflections - July to September 2023

Welcome to the latest in our series of quarterly updates all around our wonderful FNF Academy Academy Membership. Last time I mentioned what an incredible few months it had been. Well, since then we have continued to grow from strength to strength. We have now passed a quarter of a million membership reach of nurses and midwives!
In our second financial quarter, we continued to offer our updated membership benefits to all our new and existing members. From July to September 2023, we welcomed a further six organisations, 2 HEIs (Higher Education Institutions) and an ICS (Integrated Care System).
One of the most popular benefits of our new FNF Academy Members Portal has been access to our online learning and development modules. We have added a further two modules since last quarter. Alongside ‘Co-Consulting’ and ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship’, we now have modules for ‘Allyship Uncovered’ and ‘Writing For Publication’. We will continue to add a new module on a quarterly basis.
Access to our live online webinars and recordings have continued to have a good uptake. We ran three further live webinars on a variety of fascinating subjects, including ‘Writing For Publication Workshop’, ‘Preparing a Great Scholarship Application’, and ‘Improving PNA’s Self-Efficacy in QI’.

Finally, we held our third annual FNF Academy Member Symposium, this time at the beautiful Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Over 120 people attended including half of our member leads, and most brought along to introduce their ‘FNF Academy Fellow’. The Fellowship is a brand-new incentive that invites the academy member to nominate a ‘rising star’ in their organisation to commit to a 12-month programme of face-to-face and online events.
