There are so many ways you can fundraise to support the Florence Nightingale Foundation and by doing so help us to support nurses and midwives around the UK.
Will you support us and walk (virtually) to beautiful Florence, Italy – the birthplace of Florence Nightingale. It’s really easy to get set up and you can take part as an individual or set up a team.
Firstly you need to decide where your starting point will be, then calculate the distance from there to Florence – that will be your target distance to walk! A quick search online for your starting point to Florence will tell you the miles.
If you set up a team each member will then need to walk as many miles as they can so you can collectively walk distance to Florence. You may wish to do this over a month, or longer, it’s up to you!
If you are taking on the challenge as an individual it will be down to your to walk the full distance, so set yourself a time limit you think will work for you.

And if walking isn’t for you and you would like to fundraise for us in a different way, you could organise a bake sale, coffee morning, dress-down day, quiz night, garden party, sponsored run or cycle. There are endless opportunities.
