Florence Nightingale Foundation CEO Greta Westwood CBE PhD RN successfully completed the Southampton Half Marathon on Sunday in an impressive 2 hours and 6 minutes as part of her fundraising efforts to support the development of future nursing and midwifery leaders.
While the race is over, the fundraising challenge continues, and there is still a long way to go to reach the target. Greta is helping to raise £12,250 to fund a scholarship place for the May 2027-28 intake.
Leadership development builds nurses’ and midwives’ confidence and influence, equipping them to improve care for patients, communities and colleagues.
