Exclusively for FNF Academy members, alumni and current scholars
Thursday 23 July 1-2.30pm BST
Join the Florence Nightingale Foundation (FNF) for an engaging and timely webinar exploring the intersection between policy ambition, digital transformation, and the nursing and midwifery workforce. Bringing together perspectives from policy, research, and clinical practice, the session will consider how digital transformation is unfolding across health systems and what it means for professional leadership, workforce capability, and education.
Digital technologies and artificial intelligence are increasingly shaping the future of health and care. Across the UK, national strategies emphasise the potential of digital transformation to improve patient care, support workforce productivity, and enable new models of service delivery. As the largest professional group in the health workforce, nurses and midwives will play a critical role in shaping how these technologies are adopted, implemented, and used safely in practice.
We are delighted to be hearing from:
- Natasha Phillips (Founder Future Nurse; School of Health & Society, University of Salford, Manchester) who will explore Digital AI in health and care: the policy context
- Stacey Hatton (Chief Nursing Information Officer) who will look at how digital transformation is unfolding in clinical settings
- Pritesh Mistry (Fellow, Digital Technologies at The King’s Fund) discussing emerging use of AI across healthcare systems
- Siobhan O’Connor (Senior Lecturer; Adjunct Associate Prof; Liaison to United Nations for Sigma) exploring how education and professional development can support digital capability
