The Florence Nightingale Foundation’s prestigious leadership scholarships are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: developing the future nursing and midwifery leaders needed to deliver complex health and care, across the UK and globally. And we are delighted that applications for 2026-27 are now open!
Our scholarships are open to nurses and midwives working at NHS UK Agenda for Change Band 7 or above, or in equivalent roles within the independent sector, military, or international settings.
Scholars follow an 18-month in-depth personal leadership development plan with experiential learning, alongside a group of passionate and dynamic peers from a wide variety of roles, backgrounds and experiences. These sponsored places are very limited and applicants will need to demonstrate significant potential for personal and professional leadership growth.
