Online Leadership Programme Open for Commissions
“The FNF IPC champions course has evaluated really well at the Rotherham NHSFT. This bespoke course not only offers clinical updates on infection, prevention and control but equips our healthcare support workers with leadership skills they continue to practice in their clinical areas. From this development, we have recognised our FNF IPC champions at Board and they have been instrumental in our new Golden Commode award (now at 17 clinical areas) The only negative feedback was they didn’t want it to end.”
Cindy Storer, Deputy Chief Nurse, Assistant DIPC, Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust

Programme Structure
The online programme will be undertaken over two and a half months. It includes 6 modules which will be opened up one by one for participants to work through at their own pace, meaning they can fit their learning around work and other commitments.
We estimate participants will need around 30-40 hours to complete the course content in total. They will work through some modules quicker than others but will gain more from the programme by reflecting on what they have learned from each.
The online learning has end-of-chapter quizzes but there are no long form essays or projects to complete.
Participants will be able to interact with fellow participants via various opportunities throughout the course. This will include interactive welcome and celebration webinars with expert facilitators.Â
