Kate Holliday is a global healthcare executive, clinician, and researcher with more than two decades of international leadership experience spanning healthcare, research, and policy. As Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nurse of the Centre for Community-Driven Response in Geneva, she leads multidisciplinary programs that advance patient-centered care, real-world evidence generation, and innovative models of nurse-led healthcare delivery. Her work is driven by a commitment to improving health outcomes through evidence-informed policy and meaningful engagement with patients, clinicians, researchers, and policymakers.

Throughout her career, Kate has held senior leadership roles across government, academia, non-profit organisations, and international agencies. She has successfully led multimillion-dollar research investment portfolios, developed global strategic partnerships, and guided the translation of scientific evidence into healthcare policy and practice.

Her expertise spans organizational strategy, governance, health systems transformation, workforce development, and implementation of nurse-led virtual clinics across a wide range of disease areas.

An internationally recognized leader in nursing and healthcare innovation, Kate has received numerous honours, including the Health Minister’s Nursing Trailblazer Award, the Australian Primary Care Nurses Association President’s Award, Aster top ten global nursing award, and recognition as one of the WHO/UNFPA/ICN/ICM/WGH 100 Outstanding Nurses and Midwives. She continues to serve in advisory and governance roles that shape global health policy and is widely respected for her collaborative leadership, strategic vision, and dedication to improving healthcare systems for patients and communities worldwide.
