We are delighted to share our new online module, ‘Clinical Supervision: Foundations for Practice’ which we recently released. The module, which is free for FNF members to undertake, aims to offer nurses and midwives an introduction to clinical supervision. It will provide some clarity on the key principles and core skills in order to demystify the concept and encourage the professions to access as both supervisors and supervisees.

A group photo of three women, one is standing behind a sofa she is looking down, she has dark hair tied back. On the sofa there is another woman is sitting holding a clipboard, she has a pen in her right hand and she is looking at the clipboard. This woman has brown tied back hair. The woman behind the sofa and the one sitting on it are wearing nurses uniform. There is a table with two mugs and one glass of water in front of the sofa. Behind the table is a third woman sat on an arm chair that matches the sofa. The sofa and chair are grey. The woman on the chair is wearing a black top and have a grey, white and yellow checked skirt. She is looking at the woman on the sofa. The woman on the sofa has blonde shoulder length hair. In the background there is a bookcase with books and on the tops some trinkets. There are also two windows in the background one on the left and one on the right which are showing trees outside. The window on the right has a grey curtain.
