On Monday 12 May, over 2,000 nurses and midwives joined us for the 60th Florence Nightingale Commemoration Service to be held at Westminster Abbey. We were so delighted to see so many of you there, and thank each and every one of you for joining us.

We have created a short video carousel of photos, taken by the Dean and Chapter of Westminster/Picture Partnership, which you can watch below. We have also included some individual photos for you to enjoy. A video montage is being created and will be available soon.

“Thank you for honouring our profession so beautifully again this year at Westminster Abbey. The readings, prayers and music were each a fitting tribute, especially to those who gave their lives as nurses and midwives, and all so well planned and enacted.”

“The service was a surreal experience, and what an honour to be part of it! I will cherish this day!”
