Darren Mooten is a data and technology leader with over 17 years’ experience in the charity sector. He specialises in digital transformation, data strategy, business intelligence and systems integration, with a consistent track record of modernising how organisations use data to inform decision-making and improve performance.

Darren has held roles across charities including Age UK, Fight for Sight, World Animal Protection and Operation Smile UK, where he is currently Director of Data and Technology. His career has spanned technical, operational and executive leadership.

A self-confessed technology and AI enthusiast, Darren is driven by a belief that smarter use of data can make the voluntary sector more effective and impactful. He is also a Trustee of Girls in Sport. Outside of work, he is an avid traveller with a curiosity for different cultures and ideas.
