We recently published our third national Preceptorship Pulse Check survey findings, delivering a timely insight into the experiences of nurses and midwives at a key point in their careers: the transition from education to professional practice.
Building on earlier surveys conducted in partnership with the Nursing Times and UNISON, this report brings together perspectives from four key groups: students, newly registered nurses and midwives, preceptors, and preceptorship leads and champions.
Throughout the research and engagement for this report, we encountered numerous examples of preceptors and preceptorship leads delivering outstanding programmes. Although we were unable to include these case studies within the report itself, we believe they offer significant learning value. To ensure this good practice is shared, we will be publishing these examples on our website.
