In our 90th Anniversary year, your support will help us reach more nurses and midwives to improve health, clinical outcomes, and patient experience, right across the UK.
We rely on external funding to support our vital work and for our 90th Anniversary we are aiming to raise £90,000 to support 90 students, 90 early career nurses and midwives, and 90 ward leaders and social care nurses, to improve care and save lives across the world.
Right now, nurses and midwives across the UK and the world are facing immense pressures. We have to attract more people into the nursing and midwifery professions, ensure that they are supported, and help them to flourish as leaders if we are to avoid a workforce crisis – and, most of all, to achieve a healthier world.
Anyone who donates by the end of 27 October will be entered into a random draw to win a pair of tickets to a special 90th anniversary evening reception event we are hosting at the Florence Nightingale Museum in London on 28 November (see terms and conditions here).
Your donation to FNF will allow us to support more nurses and midwives who are working hard up and down the country each day to do their best for their patients and the people they support. You can read more here about the impact that our work has.
The FNF programme has enabled me to build my personal resilience and to develop ways to communicate in an impactful way. I can now find ways to channel my passion for being a voice for people who use the services within social care in a more effective and focused way.
