Travel Scholarship
A travel scholarship with the Florence Nightingale Foundation provides scholars with the opportunity to study best practice elsewhere in the UK and/or overseas to share learning across organisations.
My scholarship enabled me to become the lead nurse for our service and it set the wheels in motion for a change in practice and policy to enhance patient care. It also helped create international networks for sharing good practice and research and I was able to gain a highly competitive clinical academic fellowship.
