Trevor’s career has been varied as a paediatric and adult nurse, clinical manager, academic and educational entrepreneur he has worked in the public, private and charitable sectors in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong.
Trevor is an experienced coach and facilitator of leadership development programmes and initiatives across health and social care. As Course Leader of a MSc Leadership for Health and Social Care he worked with a number of NHS, Charitable and corporate organisations to develop programmes to support the development of clinicians and non-clinicians across health and social care boundaries.
His expertise encompasses the design of innovative active blended learning programmes, leadership of academic teams, tendering successfully for national educational frameworks.
He has been part of two Independent Educational Providers working as Institutional Partners with two universities to validate and co-deliver masters level leadership programmes.
Most recently developing and leading the delivery of programmes for International Nurse NMC registration, Patient Safety, Systems and Compassionate Leadership and Simulation Training programmes.
Over the past few years with a ‘nod’ to his roots he has moved back into clinical practice, with periods on: Paediatric Surgical Ward, Ward Manager – Sue Ryder Hospice and Health Protection Practitioner with Health Protection England.
In his spare time, he is a Community First Responder working with East Midlands Ambulance Service in Rutland and occasional triathlete.
