Liz is a children’s and learning disability nurse and an experienced senior nurse leader, she has progressed from clinician to operational leader, to strategic leader and continues to maintain her NMC registration.
She has over 25 years of knowledge and experience in nursing, many at a senior level and has worked predominantly with children and family services, both in the hospital setting and the community.
Up until August 2022 Liz was a Service Director across children and family community services. She has led teams and mobilised services successfully through radical transformational change, including transferring and landing new staff and services into another organisation.
Liz is an accredited coach with ILM and has been a mentor with the Northwest leadership Academy and is also a Florence Nightingale Foundation Scholar (2020). Her motivation for coaching is to genuinely see people progress and develop, focusing on what they want to achieve to be their best. She is an active listener and creates a safe space to build on skills and celebrate the big or little wins, be it personal or professional.
Liz now works part time in the NHS commissioning services, and in advancing her coaching business.
